Windstream Speed Test is a free tool that allows you to check the download and upload speed of your internet connection.
The Windstream Internet Test measures the download & upload speed of your computer, mobile device, or WiFi connection and provides bandwidth information for both wired & wireless connections.
Your internet speed is important. Not only because we all depend on it for our livelihood, but also because it sends a message about the vast amount of data being sent through your connection. It is therefore important to test your speed to find out whether you are getting what you’re paying for or not. You can do so by clicking on the “Go” button.
Windstream will then give you a number between 1 and 100 Mb/s (megabytes per second) and depending on your speed, that number will be one of the following:
1 = 8Mb/s (megabytes per second)
2 = 40Mb/s (megabytes per second)
3 = 68Mb/s (megabytes per second)
4 = 104Mb/s (megabytes per second)
5 = 127Mb/s (megabytes per second)
